Lateral Suppleness: The Stairs

Christoffer Adriansson presents “The Stairs”, a creative exercise that mimics the shape of a staircase: ride forward, then leg-yield to the side, then forward again in a zigzag pattern. As the horse gains confidence, Christoffer introduces transitions between shoulder-in and haunches-in. This is a simple but powerful way to improve your horse’s lateral flexibility, body control, and strength in trot and canter.
