In Sean’s light method, a green light from the horse means they are happy and confident, and Sean is able to progress with their training. For this scenario, he progresses by exploring deeper water that comes up to their bellies to see how they respond. It is important to note that Sean makes use of his experienced older horse here to give the horses confidence as this is quite a challenging environment for the young horses.
