Losing a stirrup while riding has happened to most of us! As International Showjumper Lillie Keenan explains, it happened to her in a 1.60m Grand Prix class in Aachen in the summer. It is important that as a rider, when this happens you are able to pick up your stirrups calmly and quickly without letting it through you off balance or rhythm.
